This artefact explores the pain of losing oneself, and the violent beauty of rebirth.
Comprising exactly 130 pages—an intentional reference to the name 13—the work is split in two. The first half is dedicated to identity death, grounded in black abstract artwork designed to complement each one-page chapter. The second half opens into rebirth, shifting into light grey abstract compositions.
Leaning heavily into short reflective moments over long prose, this work acts as a visual and literary antidote to identity death - an ushering in of the new self that feels raw, honest, visceral and unforgettable.
Part exhibition, part text, this is less a book and more of a relic. It is designed not only to be read linearly, but also to be dipped into depending on which space—light or dark—calls to you in the moment.
To preserve the integrity of the artefact, Collector’s Editions exist only as a strictly limited release and are limited to one per person.
